  • MAGAZINE RELEASE

    • The Department Magazine titled Bricolage was released on July 21 by the principal of the college.

  • NATIONAL TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATION
  • ASSOCIATION INAUGURATION

    • BA. English Association ENGLORA was inaugurated on 12th December 2018 by Dr.ArunLal- HOD of Mokeri Government College. The key note address of the function was on An Introduction to Literary Theory.

  • DEBATE

    • An open debate on the topic Menstruation And Human Rights organised on 18th January 2019.The event was moderated by Dr.Madhusoodanan (HOD of the Physical Education department of the College).

  • PARTICIPATION

    • Students from the English department – Husna Abdullah (A Cultural Study On Perumal Murukan’s OnePart Women) and Mizna Sherin(Language and Society), participated and presented papers in the National Undergraduate Colloquium on literature conducted by the Department of English, Pazhassi Raja NSS College, Mattannur.

  • WORKSHOP

    • A work shop was conducted by the Department of English on the topic Research Methodology and Project Management on 13th December 2018. The programme was done under the leadership of Mr. Dhanesh a research scholar at Kannur University.

  • ONE DAY ORIENTATION PROGRAM

    • The invited guest of the function was Dr Ifthikar Muhammed (Assistant professor -Central University of Kerala). His keynote address was on the topic "How to Approach English Literature"on 29th September 2017

  • ONE DAY WORKSHOP

    • As part of academic innovation, a one-day workshop on Creative writing in English was conducted. The programme was facilitated by Mr. M Noushad -assistant professor, MBL media school, Calicut.
