NAM Centre for Research and Local Development

NAM Center Research and Local Development is an academic platform of the college formed by faculty members for the purpose of undertaking various locality-based research projects aimed at the development local society. The college, located in an educationally backward area, has to play an important role in the progress of the local society by providing higher education to students belonging to backward communities. Therefore, teaching community of the college, besides fulfilling the formal academic responsibilities, is eager to take up different research activities and extension programmes for the benefits of the people in the neighboring areas of the college. This research centre brings together all faculty members of the college irrespective of disciplinary boundaries for undertaking research cum extension services as one of the best practices of the institution.

Online Journal and Working Paper Release

NAM Center for Research and Local Developments started New Annual Online Journal, NAM Journal of Social Sciences, in the month of January 2021. MEF Secretary PPA Hameed Inaugurated the Function and Former Principal Prof Kunhammed announced the launch of a new open access online journal. Along with this, Center for Research issued first volume of the Working Paper which was released by Dr.KK. Musthafa. Principal Muhammed Kuuty,Dr. Joy Varkey, Dr. Majeesh and Sameer Parambath participated delivered felicitaional address.
